The Bearcats hosted Waynesburg University in a Presidents' Athletic Conference doubleheader, and each team posted a win.  Waynesburg won the opener by a score of 5-0, and the Bearcats took game two by an 11-4 margin.  Game two featured home runs from Shane Fajt and Bobby Finn.

In game one, the Jackets got on the board in the third inning when Tyler Godwin hit a two-run home run over the left field fence, and it would prove to be all they would need.

They added two runs in the fifth and one more in the sixth, but pitcher Mason Miller threw a strong game, going the distance.  He gave up just five hits, and striking out 13.  Miller (7-2) struck out the side in both the second and sixth innings.

Matt Morrone and Finn had two hits each for the Bearcats.  Jimmy Malone (6-2) took the loss, working 5 1/3 innings and giving up four earned runs, while walking two and striking out three.  Matt Evans worked 1 2/3 relief innings, giving up just one hit and no runs, striking out two.

In the second game, the visitors once again got on the board first, loading the bases with one out in the top of the first off SVC's Casey Jones.  Godwin then singled home two runs, and another run later scored on a wild pitch to make it 3-0.

Saint Vincent scored in the bottom of the second, as Ramon Milke reached on a one-out single.  He moved to third on a single down the right field line by Shane Fajt, then scored on a sacrifice fly by Joe Rudzinski.

In the fifth, Fajt closed the gap with one swing, a leadoff home run to left that made the score 3-2.  Two batters later, Jimmy Wheeler doubled to center, then Tanner Yard followed with a single to tie the game.  After Stone Holtzman reached on an infield single that moved Yard to third, Morrone singled up the middle to plate Yard, putting the Bearcats in front, 4-3.  After a groundout advanced the runners, Nick LaCava walked to load the bases, and Milke drew a walk to bring home another run.  Fajt then stepped up for the second time in the inning, and laced a run-scoring single to left, putting SVC in front 6-3.  Rudzinski then hit what appeared to be an inning-ending ground ball, but an error ended up allowing two runs to score, and SVC was in front 8-3.

The Bearcats added a run in the bottom of the sixth on an RBI single by Milke.

In the eighth, Morrone doubled with one out, and Finn followed with his 11th home run of the season, establishing a new single-season record for the Bearcats.

With the Bearcats up 11-3, the Jackets added a run with two outs in the top of the ninth.

Jones (7-1) worked the first 7 innings, giving up six hits and three runs, walking five and striking out six. He pitched shutout ball his final six innings.

Saint Vincent is now 11-10 on the year in the PAC, 19-16 overall.  Waynesburg is 13-8 in the conference, and is also 19-16 overall.
