Alec Richard scored the first SVC goal of the season. After Arcadia kept its stronghold on the game, Saint Vincent scored with 4:29 remaining as
Zach Novelli scored a man-up goal with an assist from Richard. The hosts went on to win by the 19-goal advantage.
Brandon Martin started in goal for the Bearcats and allowed 13 goals while making sevens in the loss. On the other side, Timmy Fyock made eight saves, allowing a goal in the victory.
Saint Vincent (0-1) will host the University of Mount Union on Saturday, Feb. 22. Start time is 1 p.m.
