The Saint Vincent women's volleyball team traveled on the road take on Westminster College. Westminster defeated the Bearcats in straight sets, 3-0.

Westminster started the game off strong, taking an early 9-0 lead in the first set. A kill by
Carly Augustine for the Bearcats got them on the board making it 9-1, and then an attack error on Westminster made the score 9-2.

From that point on it was all Westminster in the first set. Westminster out scored the Bearcats 16-9 to win the first set 25-11.

Westminster scored first in the second set, but the Bearcats tied it up at one with a kill from Augustine. The teams traded the next few points in the set evening up the score at nine. Westminster then went on a quick 5-0 run and took the lead 14-9 in the set.

The Bearcats cut the lead to three (14-11) with kills by
Madison Reeping and Rebecca Miller. Both teams continued to put the pressure on as the game became tied 20-20. Westminster went on another 5-0 run to close the set out and win 25-20 and taking a 2-0 advantage overall in the match.

In the third set, it was tightly contested early as both teams traded points back and forth giving Westminster a slight edge at 10-9. Westminster used another quick 5-0 run to give them a 15-9 advantage.

The team's played even through the next few points. Kills by
Luciana Polk and Reeping got the Bearcats the closest they would be the rest of the set (20-14). Westminster closed the match out on another 5-0 run, winning the set 25-14, and sweeping the Bearcats 3-0 in the match.

Augustine led the Bearcats with seven kills.
Madi Marsico tallied 14 digs and Polk added 13 digs.
