The Saint Vincent women's bowling team earned a 3-0 sweep over visiting Pitt-Greensburg on Senior Day at Lincoln Lanes in Latrobe.
Senior
Dani Koehler (Rockledge, FL) was honored prior to the start of the match.
In game one, the Bearcats were victorious by a score of 865-688. Koehler threw strikes in the 8th, 9th and 10th frames to lead the team with a score of 197.Â
Jessica Guesman had a triple early in the game, finishing with a 196.Â
Kaitlyn Morrison added a 179 game.
In the second game, the Bearcats had their highest total of the day, winning 896-740.Â
Dani Koehler threw six strikes in the game and picked up a tough split, leading the team with a 220 game.Â
Olivia Emmonds shot a 193, while freshman
Monique Koehler added a 170.
The final point of the day was a 5-game Baker series, and SVC outscored the Bobcats 786-674. Â
Dani Koehler led the team in Baker scoring with a per-frame average of 19.1, a game equivalent of 191. Emmonds averaged 19.0, while
Mercedes Belch averaged 16.6.
Saint Vincent is now 10-2 on the season, and will return to action on Saturday (March 13) in the first round of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference Championship tournament.
