Nine different Bearcats scored in Sunday's men's lacrosse 20-2 win over Washington & Jefferson in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. It was the second time this season Saint Vincent eclipsed the 20-goal mark.
Jacob Visalli led the way with five goals while
Jordan Billet added four goals and two assists to fuel the SVC attack.
Matthew Cassidy totaled eight points (3G, 5A) with
Caleb Hawkins totaling seven points (3G, 4A).Â
Saint Vincent (7-2, 2-1) jumped out to a commanding 8-0 lead before Washington & Jefferson (2-3, 1-1) scored at the 3:24 mark of the first. The Bearcats added two more goals in the first and four in the second to lead 14-1.
SVC opened the second half by netting the first three goals before W&J added its second goal of the contest. The Bearcats closed out the game with the final four goals to win by 18 (20-2).
Brandon Martin started in net and made six saves in 33:44 of action to pick up the win.
Caleb Bouch played 11:16 while
Noah Sperling saw 15 minutes of time in the net.Â
Saint Vincent travels to Chatham University on Wednesday, April 21 to square off with the Cougars in a PAC matchup. Start time is 7:30 p.m.
