The Saint Vincent baseball team faced the Waynesburg Yellow Jackets in a Presidents' Athletic Conference game. The Bearcats lost the matchup 3-2.
Saint Vincent and Waynesburg remained scoreless through five innings.
In the top of the sixth, the Bearcats scored the first run when
TJ Dailey singled to right field as
Jordan Sabol scored.
To open the top of the seventh inning, Saint Vincent added one run. The Bearcats had the 2-0 edge over the Yellow Jackets.

At the bottom of the eighth inning, Waynesburg scored two runs when a Yellow Jacket reached home on a fielder's choice and a throwing error by SVC.
Tied at two in the bottom of the ninth, the Yellow Jackets walked it off with a RBI single to right to win 3-2.
Justin Wright, Sabol and Dailey finished the game with two hits while three other Saint Vincent players each tallied one hit.Â
Jimmy Malone started on the mound going 6.2 innings, allowing six hits with no runs.
Matt Evans garnered the loss for SVC going 1.2 innings, allowing three hits and three runs.
Saint Vincent returns to campus for the conclusion of the series with Waynesburg on Sunday, April 25. Game one starts at 2 p.m.
