LATROBE, Pa (Oct. 3)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team played host to Allegheny in a PAC match on Monday afternoon, where the Bearcats were defeated by a score of 9-0.

In doubles action, the Bearcats closest defeat was in No. 1 doubles, with
Carolina Walters and
Angela Popovich falling by a score of 8-1. The Bearcats were defeated in No. 2 and No. 3 doubles both by scores of 8-0.
Bella Baumgardner and
Rebecca Kurylo played at No. 2 doubles an
Abby Donnelly and
Lydia Lieb played at No. 3 doubles.

In singles play, Walters and Popovich battled in the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, but were both defeated by scores of 6-1, 6-0. Kurylo battled in the No. 6 singles spot but fell short, falling by scores of 6-1, 6-2.

The Bearcats will look to bounce back when they travel to Grove City on Thursday, October 6, when they travel to Grove City for another PAC match. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Walters-Zbell tennis courts, located on the campus of Grove City College.
