LATROBE, Pa (Oct. 4)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team played host to LaRoche in a non-conference match on Tuesday afternoon, where the Bearcats came away with a 9-0 victory at the SVC tennis courts.
 
In doubles, the Bearcats won all three matches by scores of 8-0. Carolina Walters and Emily Pierce played for the first time together this season at No. 1 doubles. Abby Donnelly and Lydia Lieb played at No. 2 and Cara McLaughlin and Bella Baumgardner played at No. 3 doubles.
 
Saint Vincent completed the clean sweep in singles play as well. The Bearcats won all six matches by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Walters played at No. 1 singles, Pierce played at No. 2, and Donnelly played in the No. 3 position. Rebecca Kurylo, McLaughlin, and Sophie Neubert rounded out the last singles positions in that order.
 
SVC returns to PAC play on Thursday, October 6 when they travel to Grove City to take on the Wolverines. The match is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. at the Walters-Zbell tennis courts on the campus of Grove City College.
