GROVE CITY, Pa. (April 8) - After seeing the start of its season pushed back nearly a month due to the inclement weather, the Saint Vincent men's golf team finally got the spring 2022 season started at the MBA Invitational, hosted by Grove City College at Grove City Country Club.
The Bearcats finished eighth in the 12-team field, led by
Brevin Urso, who carded a round of 83 to place 28th in a field of 76 golfers.
Anthony Rendulich and
Alex Jones each shot 89 to tie for 46th, while
Colten McCutcheon shot 90 and Zach Summers 92.
The Bearcats finished with a four-man total of 351.
Westminster College placed first with a team score of 311, led by individual medalist Michael Bell, who shot a two-over 74 to best Washington & Jefferson's Colin Robinson by one shot.
The Bearcats are scheduled to return to action on Saturday, April 9, when they return to northwestern Pennsylvania to take part in the Thiel Invitational at Avalon Country Club at Buhl Park in Hermitage.
