LATROBE, Pa. (Aug. 9) - The Saint Vincent College men's soccer team will host a one-day ID camp for prospective student-athletes on Sunday, Oct. 9, at UPMC Field.
The camp will be run by Saint Vincent College head men's soccer coach
Matt Davis and his staff and will consist of a full college training session, similar to those conducted by the Bearcat men's team, followed by competitive games. A tour of campus will be provided at the conclusion of the camp by SVC men's soccer players.
All attendees are also invited to attend the Saint Vincent men's team's match against Bethany at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8.
Schedule:
- 8:30 - 9 a.m. - Check in at UMPC Field
- 9 - 9:15 a.m. - Warmup and Intros
- 9:15 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Speed and Agility Stations
- 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. - Technical Progression into Possession Activities
- 10:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - Break into Teams for 8 v 8 / 11 v 11 play
- 10:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m. - Live Games
- 11:45 a.m. - Conclusion of Camp - Live College Talk with Head Coach Matt Davis
- **Post-Camp - Optional Campus Tour with SVC men's soccer players will be offered.
What to Bring:
- Cleats
- Flats in the event of inclement weather
- Shin guards
- Water Bottle - Ice and Water will be provided.
