BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (Sept. 15) – The Saint Vincent women's tennis team earned a decisive 7-2 road victory over Presidents' Athletic Conference rival Geneva.
Saint Vincent improves to 3-1 overall and in the PAC with the win, while Geneva drops to 4-2 overall and 1-2 in league play.

Abby Donnelly each won by 8-0 scores, while the No. 1 team of
Carolina Walters and
Angela Popovich scratched out a 8-6 win.
Geneva earned their first win of the day at No. 5 singles, but Lieb's 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 4 gave SVC a 4-1 lead, before Walters clinched the win for the Bearcats with a 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 1. Popovich won the Bearcats' sixth win of the night with a 6-1, 6-2 triumph in the No. 2 spot, before Donnelly closed it out with a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 6.
The Bearcats will step out of the conference schedule when they return to action on Monday, Sept. 16, traveling to Division II California University of Pa. for a 3:30 p.m. bout.
