LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 11)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team concluded their regular season with a 9-0 defeat at home against Grove City.
 
The Bearcats got down 3-0 after doubles play with the closest match being in number two doubles where Marisa Hooper and Emily Pierce fell by a 3-8 final.
 
In singles play, Carolina Walters fell in number one singles by a 3-6, 1-6 final. Rachel Zgurich was defeated in number two singles 3-6, 2-6, and Hooper fell 4-6, 2-6.
 
Emily Pierce competed in number three singles, while Lydia Lieb played at number four singles and Abby Donnelly at six singles.
 
Saint Vincent concludes their regular season with 9-5 overall record and 3-5 in the PAC. The Bearcats will be the six seed in the upcoming playoffs beginning next week. Their opponent and match time/day are to be determined.
