TRAFFORD, Pa. (Jan. 30) -- After a record-breaking performance at the Muskingum Muskie Meet #3, Saint Vincent College freshman sprinter Caroline Kozera has been named the Presidents' Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Rookie of the Week.

At Muskingum, Kozera (Abingdon, Md. / The John Carroll School) placed third in the finals of the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.79 seconds, after she earned a spot in the finals with a time of 9.67 seconds in the prelims, a school record and the second-fastest time in the event by a PAC runner this season. Kozera would then go on to place ninth in a 50-runner field in the 200-meter dash at Muskingum with a time of 28.36 seconds.

Kozera and the Bearcats will take part in the Youngstown State Mid-Major Invitational this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 2-3.
