WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Apr. 15)- The Saint Vincent men's tennis team defeated Waynesburg by a score of 8-1 in a PAC match on Monday afternoon.

The Bearcats (13-4, 4-1 PAC) won all three doubles matches over Waynesburg, before winning five of the six singles matches to earn their fifth consecutive victory.

In doubles play,
Matthew Sadusky and
Brady Johnson earned an 8-7(1) win at number one doubles.
Josh Havrilla and
Braden Yokopenic followed with an 8-0 win in number two doubles and
August Lawrence and
Kyle Murray did the same at number three doubles play.

Jack Citrone put the Bearcats up 4-0 after a 6-0, 6-0 win at number four singles. Johnson won his second match of the day, sealing the win for the Bearcats with a 6-2, 6-1 win at third singles.

Sadusky then won his second match of the day at second singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win to put Saint Vincent up 6-0. Lawrence rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 win at fifth singles and
Brennen Novotney won 6-0, 6-2 singles to secure the 8-1 win for the Bearcats.

Saint Vincent returns to action on Tuesday, April 16, traveling to Greenville to take on Thiel in a PAC match. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in Greenville.
