GREENVILLE, Pa. (Apr. 16)- The Saint Vincent men's tennis team won their sixth straight match on Tuesday afternoon, defeating Thiel 9-0.

The win for the Bearcats moves them to 14-4 overall on the season and 5-1 in President's Athletic Conference play as well.

Saint Vincent quickly got off to a 3-0 start, winning all three doubles matches.
Matthew Sadusky and
Brady Johnson opened the afternoon with an 8-2 win in the top doubles spot.
August Lawrence and
Kyle Murray followed with an 8-3 win in number three doubles.

In number two doubles,
Braden Yokopenic and
Josh Havrilla earned an 8-3 win for the Bearcats.

It was all SVC in singles play as well. Lawrence claimed his second win of the afternoon, winning 6-0, 6-1 at number six singles to put SVC up 4-0.
Jack Citrone finished next with an 6-0, 6-0 win at number five.

Saint Vincent's lead increased to 6-0 after
Brian Lee recorded a 6-0, 6-3 win at second singles. Sadusky then won his second of the afternoon with a 6-2, 6-3 victory at number three singles as the Bearcats led 7-0.

Johnson won his number four singles match by a score of 6-2, 6-1. Yokopenic trailed 6-7(7), 4-1 on court one, before earning a win after a medical retirement by the Tomcats to complete the 9-0 win for Saint Vincent.

The Bearcats will enjoy the day off tomorrow, before getting back to PAC play on Thursday with a home match against Grove City. The match is scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. on the SVC Courts Thursday afternoon.
