TEMPE, Ariz. (July 17)- The Saint Vincent College men's and women's tennis teams earned a host of accolades from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) for their academic achievement during the 2025-26 academic year.
Led by Head Coaches Brian Niemiec and Jym Walters, both the Bearcats men's and women's teams were named ITA All-Academic Teams, while 18 student-athletes were recognized as ITA Scholar-Athletes.
To be named an ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above on a 4.0 scale. For the 2025-26 academic year, both the men's and women's program's qualified for the team academic award as well.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) for the most recently completed academic year.
