PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 5)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team opened up their 2024 season with a 6-1 win on the road at Carlow in a non-conference matchup.

The Bearcats (1-0) took the first point of the night against the Celtics (0-3), winning two of the three doubles matches to win the lone doubles point. SVC followed that up by winning five of the six singles matches to earn the win in the season opener.

Isabella Lane was a huge part to the win in her Bearcats debut. Not only did she pick up her first two wins with Saint Vincent, but she also earned the game clinching win in number three singles to secure the victory for the Bearcats.
