LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 22)- The Saint Vincent women's volleyball team lost to Chatham by a score of 3-0 at home on Wednesday night.
Chatham won in straight sets by scores of 25-21, 25-16, and 25-21.Â
Meegan Williams totaled eight kills and eight digs for the Bearcats.
Dakota Hershberger added seven kills and 11 digs for SVC as well.
Vivian Wirth totaled five blocks while
Lauren Fox added five kills and
Sani Jones picked up 15 assists for the Bearcats in the loss.
The Cougars recorded 13 service aces over the course of the match. SVC recorded a better hitting percentage at .134 compared to Chatham's .130 percentage.
Assists were 34-29 and digs were 47-46Â both in favor of the Cougars.
Prior to the game, the Saint Vincent College Athletic Department honored Head Coach Sue Hozak for recording her 700th win earlier this month in a 3-0 sweep against Geneva at home.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Saturday, October 25 with a road matchup at Allegheny. The match is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in Meadville on Saturday.
