TRAFFORD, Pa. (Oct. 28)- Saint Vincent freshman swimmer William Schauss was named the Presidents Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week in men's swimming.

Schauss won two individual events, while also swimming a leg on the Bearcats winning 200-yard medley relay team in Saint Vincent's big win against Chatham on Friday night.

The freshman won the 200-yard butterfly (1:59.50) and the 200-yard breaststroke (2:23.26) to help lead him to the Newcomer of the Week honors. 

Schauss and the Bearcats return to action this Friday, October 31, competing at the York College Invitational.
