Six from women's soccer named CSC Academic All-District

GREENWOOD, Ind. (Nov. 25)- Six Saint Vincent women's soccer players were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.

To be eligible for CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and must be a standout on the field, competing in at least 90 percent of their team's games and starting at least 66 percent of their team's games.

Juniors Emma Koller, Addie Fisher, Jordan Kirkwood, and Cori Bieber, along with sophomores Rilyn Warner and Alexis Arlaus all earned the honor for Saint Vincent.

Koller earned her third consecutive All-PAC selection for the Bearcats, being named Second Team All-PAC. The junior was one of the top scorers in the entire PAC, scoring 13 goals, while dishing out four assists over the course of the season. She scored five game winning goals, including the game-winning goal in double overtime of the PAC Quarterfinals, sending Saint Vincent to the PAC semifinals for the second straight season.

Fisher also picked up All-PAC Second Team honors for SVC. Fisher started in 19 games for Saint Vincent. She scored four goals, including three game-winning goals, while dishing out three assists over the course of the season for Saint Vincent as well.

Kirkwood earns the CSC Academic All-District honors for the second consecutive season and was named Honorable Mention All-PAC. The junior started in all 19 games for Saint Vincent, scoring seven goals, while also dishing out three assists.

Bieber also earns the award for the second straight year. The junior started in 18 of SVC's 19 games, picking up six assists, while scoring one goal as well.

Warner earns the award for the first time in her SVC career and was named Second Team All-PAC. One of the top goalies in the conference, Warner was strong in net for Saint Vincent all season as the sophomore started in 19 games. She recorded an impressive .872 save percentage, while recording 11 shutouts. The sophomore went 13-4-1 in net over the course of the season.

Arlaus picks up the award for the first time in her SVC career as well. She earned her second All-Conference award in as many years, being named Honorable Mention All-PAC. She was a staple for the Bearcats defense, which was one of the top in the PAC all season. She also added two goals during the year as well.

Additionally, Koller and Fisher are both on the ballot to be voted on for Academic All-America.

The prestigious CSC Academic All-America honor, with honorees will be announced in mid-December.
