KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 2)- Two Saint Vincent women's soccer student athletes were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region teams announced earlier this morning.
Junior
Emma Koller and sophomore
Rilyn Warner both picked up the All-Region honor for the first time in their Saint Vincent careers. Koller was named Second Team All-Region, while Warner picked up Fourth Team All-Region honors.
Koller had another outstanding season for Saint Vincent. The junior forward was named Second Team All-PAC and earned CSC Academic All-District honors. Koller was also placed on the ballot for the CSC Academic All-America team, which will be announced later this month. The junior was one of the top scorers in the entire PAC, scoring 13 goals, while dishing out four assists over the course of the season. She scored five game winning goals, including the game-winning goal in double overtime of the PAC Quarterfinals, sending Saint Vincent to the PAC semifinals for the second straight season.
Warner also had a big season for the Bearcats in net. She earned All-PAC Second Team honors, while also being named to the CSC Academic All-District Team. Warner recorded an impressive .872 save percentage, while recording 11 shutouts, starting in all 19 games for Saint Vincent. The sophomore went 13-4-1 in net over the course of the season.
