TRAFFORD, Pa. (Nov. 4)- Three Saint Vincent College swimmers earned Presidents Athletic Conference swimmer of the week honors announced by the conference today.

On the men's side, senior Jacob Dzurica was named the PAC Swimmer of the Week, while freshman William Schauss earned the PAC Newcomer of the Week award for the second straight week. Additionally, on the women's side, Rachel Hutchinson was named the PAC Swimmer of the Week for Saint Vincent.

Dzurica had a big weekend for Saint Vincent at the York College Invitational. The senior earned two NCAA B-Cut times for the Bearcats. He first recorded a B-Cut time in the 50-yard freestyle, swimming a time of 20.06 seconds, while picking up the win in the event. He then added another B-Cut time in the 100-yard freestyle leg on SVC's 400-yard IM relay team, before tacking on wins in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.56), the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.09), and the 100-yard backstroke (52.77).

Schauss picked up the Newcomer of the Week award for the consecutive week after his big weekend at the York College Invite. He won five events for SVC during the two-day meet. Schauss picked up victories in the 500 free (4:54.79), 200 fly (1:57.51), 400 IM (4:23.68), 100 fly (53.34), and 1650 free (17:27.29).

Hutchinson earned SVC's first victory of the weekend, coming in the 500-freestyle, where she swam a time of 5:28.46. The senior also won the 200-yard freestyle (2:00.90) and 1650-yard freestyle (18:42.81) for Saint Vincent.
