UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio (Dec. 2)- The Saint Vincent men's basketball team fell on the road at John Carroll by a final score of 104-79.

John Carroll led by 29 (55-26) at the half, before the Bearcats outscored the Blue Streaks in the second half, but came up short.

Terek Crosby led Saint Vincent with 21 points, while he also grabbed four rebounds as well.
Dev Ostrowski added 16 points and a team high three rebounds.
Maxwell Gordon added 15, while
Colin Masten scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds.

Duncan Spalding added eight points and five rebounds for the Bearcats as well.

It was all John Carroll in the opening half. The Blue Streak quickly held a 55-26 lead at the half. Saint Vincent was limited to shoot just 27% in the opening half and 1-3 from beyond the three-point arc.

John Carroll shot an even 50% (20-40) from the field in the half on their offensive end, including 8-16 from the three-point arc.

Ostrowski scored 11 points in the opening half to lead the Bearcats.

SVC played it much cleaner in the second half. The Bearcats outscored the Blue Streaks by a slight 52-49 margin in the second half.

Saint Vincent shot 42 percent from the field in the loss, while John Carroll recorded a 52 percent field goal percentage. SVC turned it over 12 times, while forcing eight John Carroll turnovers.

The Bearcats return to action on Saturday, December 6 as they open up Presidents Athletic Conference play at Waynesburg. Tip off is scheduled for 8 p.m. on Saturday night.
