NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Aug. 29)- The Saint Vincent men's cross country team picked up a second place finish at the Westminster College Fisher Invitational to open their 2025 season.
Brady Sundin highlighted the event for Saint Vincent, recording a fifth place finish in the 5K race. Sundin raced a time of 16:04.41 to finish as SVC's top finisher in the event.
Will Stickman and
Jordan Raynor finished a few spots behind Sundin with Stickman finishing 12th (16:30.44) and Raynor finishing 13th (16:31.26). Freshman
Noah Channel placed 16th, racing a time of 16:37.33 for Saint Vincent as well.
Kenny Battistelli finished next (16:45.78) and
Matthew Thomas just behind him with a time of 16:50.68.
Liam Wilson and
Ryan Cawley recorded top-40 finishes as well, running times of 17:34.24 and 17:35.91 respectively.
Nick Dzurica (18:34.03),
Roger Kwiat (19:30.66), and
Harry Bogner (19:32.73) rounded out the race for SVC.
Saint Vincent will run again on Saturday, September 13 as they take part in the Bethany College Invitational. The race is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
