BETHANY, W.V. (Sept. 13)- The Saint Vincent women's cross country finished in second place at the Bethany College Invitational on Saturday morning.
The Bearcats were once again led by
Grace Neubert who won her second race of the season. Neubert ran a time of 22:32.5 to lead SVC and win the 6K race.
Cassy Lanza and
Lily Murphy both recorded top-ten finishes for the Bearcats as well. Lanza raced a time of 24:25.3 to finish in seventh and Murphy finished in eighth with a time of 24:42.8.
Freshman
Jane Huss recorded a 12th place finish with a time of 25:03.3 and
Lauren Schemmel raced a time of 25:11.2 to finish in 13th.
Grace Scoville and
Isabella Snyder rounded out the race for SVC, racing times of 26:05.3 and 27:04.6 respectively.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Saturday, September 20 as the Bearcats will compete at the Presidents Athletic Conference Preview in Meadville and the NCAA Pre-National Championship meet in South Carolina.
