LATROBE, Pa. (Sept. 22)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team fell by a score of 6-1 to Franciscan on Monday evening in Latrobe.

The Bearcats (5-4, 2-3 PAC) fell in all three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches.

Carolina Walters recorded SVC's lone point of the afternoon in the top singles spot. Walters won a marathon match that ended in a 6-4, 6-4 final.

Saint Vincent returns to action on Thursday, September 25 with a road PAC matchup at Thiel. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. in Greenville on Thursday.
