SMITHFIELD, R.I. (Feb. 10)- The Saint Vincent women's bowling team earned its highest ranking ever in the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) poll.
In the All-Division's poll, the Bearcats ranked 20th in the country, which is the program's highest ever ranking. Their previous top ranking was 21st. In the Division II and Division III poll the Bearcats ranked fourth, which is also the program's highest ranking in that respective poll.
Under the guidance of Head Coach
Jeff Zidek, the Bearcats have compiled an impressive 37-2 overall record, including going 5-1 in AMCC matches to this point in the season. Saint Vincent has placed fourth in four different tournaments this year as well.
The Bearcats return to action this Saturday, February 14 competing in the second two-day AMCC Round Robin of the season. The round robin is scheduled to take place at Hiester Lanes in Reading, Pa.
