Smithfield, R.I. (June 30)- The Saint Vincent women's bowling team along with eight of their student-athletes were recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) for their academic excellence in the classroom this past year.
As a team, the Bearcats were named as one of the NTCA's All-Academic Scholar teams. To qualify for the NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team award, programs must have maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2025–26 academic year. SVC achieved a team GPA of 3.401 and was one of just 59 teams in the entire country to earn the award.
Individually, eight Saint Vincent women's bowlers were named NTCA All-Academic Scholar Athletes. Senior

Lilly Houle, and
Kaylie Kurland all earned the award for the Bearcats.
The NTCA All-Academic Team honors collegiate bowlers who have excelled in the classroom while competing at the highest levels of the sport. To be eligible, student-athletes must have maintained a minimum GPA of 3.4 during the academic year. The National Tenpin Coaches Association is privileged to showcase the exceptional academic accomplishments of our student-athletes.
