YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (Feb. 26)- The Saint Vincent women's track and field team finished eighth at the Presidents Athletic Conference Indoor Championships at Youngstown State.
Grace Neubert picked up the Bearcats top two finishes of the championship. Neubert finished second in both the mile (4:59.48) and the 3000-meter run (10:31.22) for SVC. Also, in the mile,
Lily Murphy finished sixth with a time of 5:20.26.
The Bearcats Distance Medley Relay team picked up a third place result as well. The team of
Jane Huss, Murphy, Neubert, and
Brecia Bentley raced a time of 12:45.64 for the Bearcats.
Huss also ran a personal best time of 2:23.75 to finish ninth in the 800-meter race, while Bentley raced a personal best time of 1:03.40 in the 400-meter race.
In the 200-meter race,
Gabrielle Dove recorded an eighth place finish with a time of 27.11 for the Bearcats.
The Bearcats will return to action on Friday, March 6 competing at the AARTFC Indoor Championships at The Armory in New York.
