WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (Mar. 21)- The Saint Vincent men's golf team sits in sixth place after the opening round of the Premier Collegiate Classic in their spring opener on Saturday afternoon.

Matt Edwards led the way for the Bearcats in the opening round. Edwards is currently T-1 after shooting an opening round 70 (-2). He carded five birdies and 10 pars during his round.

Evan Bower and Brendan Cooley both shot an opening round 80. Bower totaled eight pars and two birdies, while Cooley recorded 12 pars and a birdie.

Owen Miele shot an 83 with 12 pars and Alex Leskovansky carded a 93 with six pars on his round.

The Bearcats will be back in action tomorrow, Sunday, March 22 to play in the final round of the Premier Collegiate Classic in Virginia.
