GREENSBURG, Pa. (Mar. 30)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team fell to California (PA) by a score of 7-0 in a non-conference matchup on Monday afternoon at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
Despite the loss, the Bearcats lone victory of the day came in the top doubles spot, which was
Carolina Walters 100th victory of her outstanding Saint Vincent career.
Walters teamed up with fellow senior
Emily Pierce to earn a 6-1 victory in the top doubles position.
Walters is already the all-time wins leader in program history with 100. She surpassed Jackii Hauser, who held the previous record of 93 career victories, early this season.
Saint Vincent returns to action on Sunday, April 12 with a road doubleheader at Pitt-Greensburg. The first match is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
