LATROBE, Pa. (July 20)- The Saint Vincent College Athletic Department has announced the hiring of
Cesar Guerrero as the Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications after serving as one of the department's most dependable student workers for three years.
Guerrero will work directly with Director of Athletic Communications Noah Aftanas and Director of Digital Media and Content Andrew Norville.
A familiar face within the athletics department, Guerrero played an integral role in Athletic Communications throughout his undergraduate career. His responsibilities included serving as the head statistician for numerous athletic contests, public address announcer, assisting with game-day operations, facility setup, live event management, and supporting the department's day-to-day communications efforts across a variety of sports.
Guerrero graduated from Saint Vincent College in 2026 with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management and a minor in Marketing. He is currently pursuing a Master of Management in Operational Excellence at Saint Vincent College.
In addition to his work in Athletic Communications, Guerrero was a four-year member of the Saint Vincent College men's soccer program. During his senior season, he helped the Bearcats achieve one of the most successful campaigns in program history, highlighted by hosting the first home conference playoff match in program history.
At the end of his collegiate career, Guerrero was honored with the prestigious John Granish Athletics Award, presented annually to four-year student-athletes in good academic standing who have maximized their abilities through hard work, dedication, and determination throughout their careers at Saint Vincent.
As Graduate Assistant for Athletic Communications, Guerrero assists with media relations, statistical coverage, game-day operations, content creation, and the promotion of Saint Vincent's 26 varsity athletic programs.
