NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Sept. 16)- The Saint Vincent women's tennis team dropped a Presidents Athletic Conference match at Westminster by a score of 5-2 on Wednesday evening in New Wilmington.
The Bearcats (0-3, 0-1 PAC) dropped all three doubles matches to the Titans (1-2, 1-1 PAC) to fall in doubles play, but added their two points with wins by
Sydney McWreath and
Sofia Tehrani in singles.
McWreath earned a 7-5, 6-3 win for the Bearcats at number two singles, while Tehrani won by scores of 7-5, 6-3 as well in number five singles.Â
Saint Vincent returns to action on Friday, September 18 with a home non-conference matchup against Mount Aloysius. The match is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. at the SVC Courts.
