Former Lady Bearcat superstar Kelly Morda has been selected to the Armstrong County Sports Hall of Fame.
Morda, a native of Ford City, PA, graduated from Saint Vincent in 2002 after a prodigious four-year career on the hardwood. A three-time All-American Mideast Conference selection, the guard graduated as the school's second all-time leading scorer, with 1,776 career points, and was a 2002 NAIA All-America selection.
During her career, she helped lead the Lady Bearcats to a trio of NAIA National Tournament appearances, while the team went a combined 82-38.
While at Ford City High School, Morda was a four-year starter, and was named All-Section, All-WPIAL, and All-State, while helping lead the Sabres to three section championships and a third place finish in the state.
