The Saint Vincent men's tennis team earned its first victory of the 2011 season by defeating visting Mount Aloysius College 9-0 in a match held at the Greensburg Racquet Club.

In doubles, the teams of Dan Chirdon/Sean Malone, Nathan Walch/Tyler Camaione and Shawn Lehman/Ben Clark were all winners.  The #1 and #2 teams won by scores of 8-0, while Lehman and Clark won their match 8-3.

In singles, Chirdon, Walch, Malone, Camaione, Lehman and Nick Latterner all picked up victories.  Camaione's match at #4 went to a tiebreaker, and he was a 10-8 winner in added play.

For freshmen Malone, Latterner and Walch, the victories were the first of their SVC careers. 

The Bearcats are now 1-3 on the year, and will host Westminster College at 12:30PM on Wednesday at the Racquet Club to kick of their Presidents' Athletic Conference slate.
