The Bearcat men's tennis team defeated Waynesburg University on the road by a score of 6-3, clinching second place in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

With the win, SVC is now 5-1 in the PAC and will finish second regardless of the outcome of its match against Washington & Jefferson, which is slated for Tuesday.

Dan Chirdon and Sean Malone earned straight set wins in their respective singles matches at #1 and #3.  Nathan Walch (#2) and Nick Latterner (#6) also were singles winners, each recovering from a first set loss to post wins in the second and third sets.

In doubles, Chirdon/Malone (#1) and Latterner/Shawn Lehman (#3) were winners.

The Bearcats are now 8-6 overall on the year, 8-3 against NCAA-III schools.
