SVC ends regular season with rain-shortened win

BOX SCORE

The Saint Vincent men's tennis team concluded its regular season with a rain-shortened 6-0 victory over Washington & Jefferson College on the road.  With the win, the team finishes the year with a 6-1 record in the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

In doubles, the teams of Dan Chirdon/Nathan Walch (#1), Tyler Camaione/Sean Malone (#2) and Shawn Lehman/Nick Latterner (#3) all earned wins.

Each singles match was shortened to a single 8-point set due to impending weather.  Chirdon (#1), Walch (#2) and Lehman (#5) all recorded wins.  Malone, Camaione and Latterner all led their matches when lightning in the area forced them to be stopped.

All scores are final...the unfinished matches will not be resumed.

The Bearcats will now take part in the PAC Singles Tournament this weekend to conclude the year.
