The Bearcat tennis team earned a Presidents' Athletic Conference victory over Thiel College by a final score of 6-3.

Dan Chirdon, Nathan Walch and Sean Malone each picked up a pair of wins on the day.

In doubles, Chirdon and Malone were winners in the #1 position by an 8-0 tally, while Walch and Tyler Camaione won their #2 match by the same score.  In the #3 doubles spot, SVC's Shawn Lehman and Ben Clark saw their match go to a tiebreaker.  With the set tied 8-8, the tiebreaker went to Thiel by a narrow 9-7 margin.

In singles, Chirdon (#1), Walch (#2) and Malone (#3) each won in straight sets, as did Lehman in the #5 match.  Camaione split two sets with his opponent before falling 10-7 in the tiebreaker.

Saint Vincent is now 5-6 overall, but in second place in the PAC with a 4-1 record.  Thiel falls to 0-4 in the PAC, 0-10 overall.  The Bearcats will travel to Waynesburg on Monday for a 3PM conference matchup.
