The Saint Vincent Bearcats fell to the Bethany Bison by a score of 3-2 in overtime on Senior Day in Latrobe.

Just over 19 minutes into play, Bethany's leading scorer, Arkangelo James, took a throw-in from Lamine Balde and connected for a goal to give the visitors the early lead.

However, in the 35th minute, SVC tied the game on an unusual goal.  Defender Luke D'Amico hit a ball from more than 30 yards out that took a high hop over goalkeeper Skylar Kinnard's head and into the net.

Early in the second half, Balde and James once again paired for a goal.  This time, James hit a cross to set up his teammate, and Balde finished with the goal to give the Bison the lead just under five minutes into the second half.

Once again, SVC refused to give up, as Brody Ruffner took a long throw-in from D'Amico and buried it into the upper corner of the net for the game-tying goal in the 72nd minute.

With 15 minutes remaining in regulation, a red card to SVC's Josue Cuadra forced the hosts to play a man down for the remainder of the game.  While neither team was able to score in the rest of the second half, the Bison rallied just over five minutes into the OT period.

James headed a ball inside the box, where Balde also headed it.  The second header landed on the foot of Casey Clements, who tallied his first career goal, winning the game for the visitors.

Clemente Mejia, who made several point-blank saves on the day among his 12 stops, took the hard-luck loss in the net for the Bearcats.

On the day, Bethany outshot SVC by a 31-19 margin, with Balde (11) and James (9) supplying most of the action.  Ruffer, D'Amico and Cuadra each had four shots for the Bearcats.

Bethany is now 3-1 in the conference, 5-8-1 overall.  Saint Vincent falls to 5-9-1 overall, but 0-5 in the PAC.
