The Thomas More Saints took a 31-point lead at the half and never looked back, defeating Saint Vincent by a score of 38-3 in Crestview Hills, KY.

SVC struggled to hang onto the football early in the game.  After a fumble on the opening kickoff, which SVC retained, another fumble three plays later gave the Saints the ball at the Bearcat 14.  Adam Rauch ran to the end zone on TMC's first play from scrimmage, and it would prove to be all the points Thomas More would need.

An interception at the end of the first quarter led to an early second quarter score by the Saints that made it 17-0, and a blocked punt into the end zone that TMC's Trey Wells recovered quickly made it a 24-0 game.

After a Bearcat punt, the Saints marched down the field and scored again, making it 31-0 at the break.

Neither team scored during the third quarter, but the hosts added another touchdown early in the fourth to make it 38-0.

Kevin Corona, making his first appearance since 2009, then came in at quarterback for the Bearcats, going 4-for-5 and leading the team on its only scoring drive of the day, which ended with a Morgan Porter 36-yard field goal.

The Saints dominated the stat sheet, outgaining the Bearcats 309 to 106 on the day, after holding the Bearcats to just 17 first half yards.  Rauch carried the ball 18 times for 92 yards for the Saints, while Ryan Crawford and Andy Borgen each had 17 yards for the Bearcats.

Corona was 4-5 for 40 yards, while Matt Deakins was 7-for-20 for 16 yards and was sacked three times.  Matt Duffey had three catches for 30 yards.

Defensively, Renny Larue-Holloman had 14 tackles, including two sacks and four tackles behind the line of scrimmage.  Dan Wirkowski added 12 tackles.  Darius Brown had a pair of third quarter interceptions, bringing his career total to seven.

The Bearcats (0-8) return home next week to play Grove City College.  With the win, Thomas More is now 5-3 overall, 5-2 in the conference.
