The Bearcats cruised to an 83-56 victory at home over the Roaring Lions of Penn State-Fayette.
SVC opened an early five-point lead, 9-4, but the visitors then went on a six-point run, led by center David Winns. A dunk by Winns gave Fayette the lead, 10-9, with 15:39 left in the first half. After

Armani Fountain, SVC quickly regained the lead, but Wills then added four more quick point, including another dunk, making it 14-13 in favor of the Roaring Lions.

A three by Klimchock then returned the lead to the Bearcats, and the team never trailed again. Using a well-balanced attack, SVC took a 41-28 advantage into the half.
In the second half, the Bearcats brought in many of their freshmen, as a total of 14 players scored.
Dillon Stith led the team with 13 points in just 12 minutes of play. Stith was a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor.
Chris Klimchock and
Isaac Turner each added 10 points. Ed Wright had 9 points, while
Grant Latus added 8.
JC Howard added 7 points and five rebounds.
Sean Kett led the team on the boards with six.
Ben Klimchock made his Bearcat debut and had 7 points in just 11 minutes.
For Fayette, Winns had 17 points and 8 rebounds. Brandon Cunningham added 12 points, while Ryan Hart had 10.
