The Saint Vincent men's tennis team beat the Pitt-Greensburg Bobcats in dominating fashion, notching a 9-0 in its first match back from Florida. With the win, the team improved to 2-2 on the season.
Senior
Dan Chirdon, sophomore
Anthony Nemanic, and freshman
Chris Andrejcik were all perfect on the day, winning 8-0 in their doubles matches and 6-0, 6-0 in their singles matches.
While all three had excellent matches, Chirdon outshined them all by winning the race to finish his match first.
Sophomore
Nick Latterner stepped up and played well while filling in for sophomore
Nathan Walch, who is temporarily sidelined by injury. Latterner teamed with Andrejcik at third doubles for an 8-0 victory before winning his singles match 6-2, 6-3.
The Bearcats resume Presidents' Athletic Conference play at home on Friday against the Westminster Titans. Last season, the teams battled to a close 5-4 match which was won by SVC.
