BUCKHANNON, W.Va. (Apr. 17) - Behind an impressive 12 points by junior
Nora Posival, the Saint Vincent women's lacrosse team rolled to a 22-13 win over NCAA Division II member West Virginia Wesleyan.
With the win, the Bearcats even their record to 5-5 on the season while holding a 4-3 mark on the road. The loss drops the Bobcats to 2-10 on the year.

Hannah Hackman just over two minutes into the game. W.Va. Wesleyan answered back just 45 seconds later to the the game, 1-1.
Junior
Alyssa Lang's first (of five) goal of the game followed just 39 seconds later to put SVC back ahead, 2-1. WVW continued the quick scoring pace by answering just 40 seconds later to tie the game, 2-2,
The hosts then took their only lead of the game with a goal at the 21:56-mark, 3-2. Posival and freshman
Molly Snyder scored goals just over 90 seconds apart to put SVC back in the lead, 4-3.
The Bobcats tied the game one last time with a 4-4 equalizer at the 15:31-mark before Lang and Hackman put SVC ahead for good with two quick goals. The Bearcats scored four of the final six goals of the first half to take a 10-7 lead into halftime.
In the second half, SVC doubled up WVW, 12-6. Fisher started the half with two scores to make it a 12-7 game.
SVC twice scored three consecutive goals in the second half to pull away with the 22-13 win.
For the game, Saint Vincent out-shot West Virginia Wesleyan, 47-29, and forced the hosts into seven more turnovers, 19-12.
Lang led all players with 12 shots while Hackman added 10 shots and Posival registered nine.
Posival recorded a game-high 12 points (five goals, seven assists) while Lang contributed seven points (five goals, two assists), Fisher tallied six points (four goals, two assists) and Hackman finished with four points (three goals, one assist).
Freshman
Michelle Mitchell earned her second win of the season in goal, making eight saves in 60 minutes of action.
The Bearcats return to action in one week, Tuesday, Apr. 24, hosting Washington & Jefferson at 6 p.m.
