LATROBE (Sept. 22) - The Bearcats trailed, 3-0, at halftime before eventually falling to Heidelberg (Ohio), 5-0, in non-conference action on the SVC Turf.
With the loss, the Saint Vincent men's soccer team drops to 5-3-1 on the season with out of league game left before Presidents' Athletic Conference play begins. Heidelberg evens its mark at 4-4 after dropping its first three games of the year.
The guests struck three times in the first half with goals coming in the 13th, 24th and 38th minutes before adding a pair of penalty kick goals in the second half to mount the final margin.
The Student Princes out-shot SVC for the game, 14-9, while also taking four corner kicks to SVC's two.

Robert Tokarski suffered the loss in goal, allowing all five tallies and making one save in 90 minutes.
The Bearcats close out non-conference play with a 4 p.m. match-up with Hiram (Ohio) on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
