The Saint Vincent College men's tennis team raised its record in conference play to 2-0 with a 9-0 win over the Thiel Tomcats.
The Bearcats lost just 10 games while winning all three doubles positions. They were led by freshman David Cenkner and junior
Anthony Nemanic, who rolled to a commanding 8-2 win at first doubles. Both 2nd and 3rd doubles won their matches 8-4.
The top of Saint Vincent's lineup was strong once again versus Thiel. Cenkner won 6-0, 6-3 at the first position, sophomore
Tony Costantino breezed to victory 6-2, 6-0 at second singles, and Nemanic triumphed 6-1, 6-1 at No.3.
The Bearcats last three singles players also beat each of their opponents. Junior
Nathan Walch, sophomore
Chris Andrejcik, and junior
Sean Malone all won in straight sets.
Saint Vincent's next match is 3 30 Monday at conference foe Washington & Jefferson.
