The Saint Vincent Men's tennis team was back in action on Monday, March 14 against Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Westminster Titans. Saint Vincent came away from the match with an 8-1 win to open conference play.

Doubles play saw the Bearcats take two points, at the first and third spots. Freshmen
Jonathan Prichard and
Ryan Hartz notched their first collegiate wins in an 8-2 effort, while
Dalton Yezovich and
Pat McGee continued their winning ways, also winning by a score of 8-2. The Titans claimed the second doubles point by the score of 9-8 (7-1) after a marathon match.

The Bearcats swept singles play to finish off the match. Prichard got singles underway with another win at first singles by scores of 6-0 and 6-1. McGee picked up the fourth point for Saint Vincent at sixth singles with a 6-1, 6-2 straight sets victory. Hartz clinched the match for the Bearcats with his second win of the day, (6-3, 6-1) at second singles. Fox also claimed his first collegiate win at fourth singles.

The win puts Saint Vincent's record at 1-2 (1-0 PAC). The Bearcats will be back in action Thursday, March 17 at 12:30 PM, as they take on the Geneva Golden Tornadoes at the Greensburg Racquet Club.Â
