Bearcats struggle in lopsided loss

The Bearcat baseball team struggled at the plate and on the mound, losing to Ohio Northern University by a score of 22-1 in Auburndale, Florida.

Ohio Northern scored in the top of the first to make it 1-0, and SVC answered right back.  Dylan Kugler hit a one-out double in the bottom of the first, then SVC's next two batters, Ben Webb and Greg Martin, both reached on errors to load the bases.  Chris Winkler was then hit by a pitch, tying the game 1-1.

However, it would prove to be the lone run of the day for the Bearcats, while the Polar Bears had a couple of big innings, cruising to the lopsided win.

Dylan Pietrantoni (0-2) started and took the loss for SVC.  With the loss, the Bearcats are now 2-4 on the season.
