BOX SCOREBy Brian Niemiec, Sports Information Student Assistant The Saint Vincent men's tennis team ran its win streak to eight and remained unbeaten in the Presidents' Athletic Conference with a 9-0 win over the Thiel Tomcats.

In doubles play the Bearcats took home 8-0 wins at both the second and third positions. The win by the third pairing of
Dalton Yezovich and
Pat McGee was their eighth in a row and sixteenth overall in their careers. The first doubles pairing of
Jonathan Prichard and
Ryan Hartz fought off a feisty pair of Tomcats to claim an 8-5 victory.

Singles play got underway with a straight sets 6-0, 6-0 win by Yezovich at sixth singles.
Tyler Brinton clinched the match for Saint Vincent by winning at fourth singles, also by the score of 6-0, 6-0. For the second match in a row, the Bearcats won all singles matches in straight sets.

With the win, Saint Vincent sits at 8-2 on the year and 6-0 in PAC play. The Bearcats have the rest of the week off and will play next when they travel to Penn State Altoona for a non-conference matchup on Sunday, April 10.
