BOX SCORE

The SVC men's tennis team improved to 6-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference following a victory on the road at Geneva College.

The final score was 6-3.

Saint Vincent captured two of three points at doubles to open the day.  Jon Oskin and Zach Fox won the #2 doubles match with an 8-0 tally.  Ryan Hartz and Alec Spangler were winners at #1 doubles, 8-5.

In singles play, the Bearcats took four of six matches.  Oskin was a 6-0, 6-1 winner in the #1 spot, while Tyler Brinton won the #5 match with identical scores.  Scott Reichard won the first set of the #2 singles match, 6-2, then had to go to the tiebreaker to win the second set, 7-6. The final win of the day was by Ryan Hartz at #4 singles, by scores of 6-4 and 6-4.

SVC is now 9-4 overall and will host first place Grove City (6-0) on Tuesday (April 18) at 12:30PM at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
