The Saint Vincent men's tennis team lost a non-conference match to Mount Aloysius College by a score of 6-3 on Senior Day at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
Jon Oskin was the lone two-time winner on the afternoon. He captured the #1 doubles pairing along with
Zach Fox, then won his singles match. Oskin was leading 5-0 in the first set when his opponent retired.
Alec Spangler was the other Bearcat winner, earning a straight-set win in the #6 singles position.
Six seniors were honored prior to the start of the match. They were greeted on the court by Molly and Cassandra Campi, the wife and daughter of the late Enrico Campi, longtime SVC coach. Coach Campi passed away on March 31.
The team returns to conference play on Sunday (April 9) as they travel to Bethany College for a neutral-site makeup contest against Thomas More College.
